Where do you want to go and for how long?

We can organise excursions which take half day, the whole day or you can go on a trip for a few days. Justtell us what your wishes are and we will arrange everything according to your wishes. Your starting point can always be Beach Villa Lanka (as you spent holidays at Villa) or you can go on a trip and end your journey at Beach Villa Lanka.

This is an example of a 6 DAYS TRIP AROUND SRI LANKA.

Day 1: PINNAWALLA - DAMBULLA

Breakfast. Hop on the bus and start of exploring Sri Lanka.
Driving towards Pinawalla. First stop is the elephant shelter which is unique in the World. Animals are observed during their swim in the river or in the garden, it can also be seen how they feed them and you can try it too. Afterwards we proceed to Dambulla where we visit the cave temple in which the frescoes are more than 1000 years old. There is also an exceptional view of the surrounding area view from the temple. We close the day with dinner in Dambulla and overnight.

Day 2: DAMBULLA - SIGIRIYA - POLONNARUWA - KANDY

After breakfast we drive to Sigiriya to see the famous Lion rocks. If you have the wish, you can climb on the rock (one hour ascent up the steep stairs) to see the World famous frescoes Beauties from Sigiriya from the 5th century and remains of the fort at the top of the rocks. Later on we will drive to Polonnaruwa where you will see the Royal Palace, the Royal pool, a Hindu temple Siva Devalaya, … Afterwards dinner and overnight.

Day 3: KANDY

After breakfast we head towards the former capital and religious center of Sri Lanka. We will get to see the old town, markets, handicrafts and batik crafts woodworking. We will return to the hotel to watch folklore dances. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: KANDY

After breakfast we will sightsee the botanical garden Royal Botanic Gardens Paradeniya whose origins date back to the year 1371. Garden is also known by the fact that it sowed the first seed of rubber in Asia, which was brought from South America. We will also see the trees that are planted when visiting statesmen and among them is a tree that is planted by Marshal Tito.
We will spend a relaxing day in Kandy. We will take time to visit the market for souvenirs shoping, visit the parks or do any other independent activities. In the evening we will go to see the most important temples in Sri Lanka in which the Buddha's tooth is kept. Dinner.

Day 5: KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA- ELLE - YALA NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast. After breakfast we have the longest part of the journey ahead of us. We will go to Nuwara Eliyah, which lies 1,800 meters above the sea level. This area is really a true horticultural miracle with fields with onion, garlic, leek, lettuce, carrots, strawberries and beans. We will drive through beautiful areas overgrown with tea plantations and also stop for tasting  the tea and to take the tour of the production of tea. Then the train ride to the Elle and to Yale Park, the largest national park in Sri Lanka. We will accommodate in a hotel accommodation, have dinner and overnight.

Day 6: YALA NATIONAL PARK - BEACH VILLA LANKA

Breakfast. Early morning departure to Yala National Park. We will take safari jeep tour in the park where with a little luck you can see elephants, crocodiles, more than 130 species of birds and perhaps even leopard. Those who will not go on safari will be able to sleep a little longer. Then we will continue the journey to the south coast (to the Beach Villa Lanka), where we will meet with the majestic Indian Ocean.
